Kirine is a German-based Romanian vocalist with a unique, otherworldly soprano voice.

So this came together very quickly over a weekend in late march after i had a remixer pull out at the last minute, & a late night movie chat with Kirine about artificial intelligence movies. Plus, i really like listening to Kirine sing...

It’s a completely different take on the song, with lush, layered ambient choral vocals giving way into an unusual, spatial lead. Very cinematic, very widescreen.

As a bonus track on the bandcamp release, we’ve included an acappella version entitled Stall (Spectral Voices), A haunting, achingly pretty version of the song that shows off Kirine’s remarkable range amidst infinite reverbs & delay washes.
